One Thin Skin Toupe Has a shelf life of 4-6 weeks, after which it is removed and a new one is mounted. The shelf life of 4-6 weeks is due to the hair not attached but stuck in - therefore this type of bottom is not suitable for being cleaned and attached again. With one Thin Skin Toupe If you get a bottom thickness of 0.06 mm.
