Typically, one distinguishes between wigs of fiber and real hair. The modern fiber wigs are extremely beautifully processed and look like real hair. Yes, in many ways it looks like real hair. Manufacturers are constantly developing and refining the quality of fiber hair to achieve as natural a look as possible. Fiber hair feels different from real hair, and does not withstand warmth. Fiber wigs are made in many variations - also with reflexes and bottom color, giving color games and depth that also occur in the natural real hair.

A standard wig made of fiber hair typically lasts 6-8 months in general use. Repeated physical impact/rubbing from eg helmet, cap, scarf, steam from cooking, high collar clothing etc. Slider on the fibers and reduce the durability of the wig.

We advise against sleeping with a fiber hair paryk as it wears on the wig. We recommend that you use suitable care products to maintain the fiber. After a few months of use, the wig can start to fry and "sniff" - and the hairstyle may lose volume and resilience. We then recommend that you book time for a cooling with us where we can lift the hairstyle and refresh the fibers.

There are different ways the wig can get stuck, and it is very individual which solution is suitable. It depends on both wig type, lifestyle and activity level.

As a starting point, the shape of the wig fit your head and just as in clothing there are wigs in size XS for XL.

Some wigs have wrapped non -slip surfaces at the bottom that give you extra comfort and safety. In addition, the perimeter of some wigs can be adjusted using a single buckle in the neck of the wig.

It is possible to attach the wig with a double -sided wig tape if you need it to be extra tight.

Others again choose a solution where the wig is glued firmly 24/7. There they come to service with us and get it off at a specific interval. This solution can only be selected for certain types of wigs.

We offer different types of toupes. The solution that best suits you depends entirely on the extent of your hair loss, your lifestyle and your activity level. Our hair for life by Toftild Toupés is made of real hair.

We have a so -called "disposable stoupe", which is used for approx. 4-6 weeks at a time, after which you buy a new one and get it on. Each time you buy a new one, the Hair Part costs 1,750,- for this is a service of 1,300,-. This toupe is stuck 24/7 with skin glue and is the thinnest and finest on the market.

Furthermore, foil and net bottoms are found that can be used several times. They cost 3,375,- Typically you will use 3-4 pcs. In a year, but it is very individual. For service, the hair is removed, cleaned, washed, put back on and styled. With hair for life by Toftild® you can sleep with your hair, swim, practice sports and other physically demanding activities. New Toupe
When installing a new toupe, both the hair part and your own hair are cut to achieve a nice and natural integration between your own hair and the hair section. The hair styles and you are informed of care and maintenance.

Service visit
Hair for life toupes must be serviced about once a month. When servicing, the toupe is removed and the scalp is cleaned for glue and tape. The scalp is pealed and prepared for mounting the toupe. The toupe is cleaned and washed before it is mounted again and the hair is cut and styled.

The price of hair for life toupe is indicative, as it is individually how often you need to get a new toupe and how often you need to go for service treatment.

When washing hair and bathing with a toupe that is glued on, be aware that the binding capacity of the glue is affected in water. Until the glue gathers and hardens, we recommend that you do not move the hair section. After bath, excess water is pressed out with a towel - and the hair part is gently pressed into place. Extended blow dryers can advantageously be used. Then the hair is styled.

It is quick and easy to get new hair at Toftild. The treatment takes two hours. It is light, painless and not surgical, so if you later opt out of using toupe, you have no brands or scars.
