Helle’s Wig Boosted Her Confidence
I have been wearing a wig for about 10 years, as I unfortunately developed alopecia after my cancer illness. For several years, I received great help from “Hair for Life” used as small hairpieces, but as the areas with bald patches kept changing, I chose to switch to a full wig, which I have not regretted.
I found it practical not to have to spend several hours once a month on treatments, and the cosmetic result was also better. I received so many positive comments about my new hair, which really did something good for my confidence. From the beginning, I decided to accept the wig as an aid and focus on the advantages of wearing a wig.

I no longer had to spend time in the morning “getting styled.” I could choose new hairstyles and suddenly go from short to long hair, which I actually did. I also decided to be open about it, which has been good for me personally, but has also helped others break the taboo that can still exist around wearing a wig.
I swim in the sea with my “swim hair” (an old wig) and swim in the indoor pool with a bathing cap without a wig, and both work perfectly well for me.
Throughout all these years, it has meant a lot to me to be a loyal customer at Toftild because I am always met by highly professional stylists. On top of that, their hearts are truly in the right place, which I appreciate SO much.
