Hair for Life by Toftild® can be used by both men and women of all ages. The hair solution is made from 100% human hair on either a fine mesh base or a polyurethane base. Hair for Life by Toftild® can be made as a full wig, toupee, or hairpiece – depending on your needs – but the principle is the same. In the case of a full wig or a larger bald area, we create a precise cast of your head shape and customize the wig or hairpiece individually for you. This ensures a 100% optimal fit.
Flexible hair solution tailored to your needs
Hair for Life by Toftild® is a flexible hair system where you only pay for the number of hairpieces and salon visits you need. The hair is attached to the scalp for a period at a time, typically 4 weeks. After that, the hair is removed, cleaned, reattached and styled. With Hair for Life by Toftild®, you can sleep with your hair on, swim, play sports and take part in other physically demanding activities. The only time you are without hair is during your monthly appointment at Toftild – or with one of our Hair for Life partners.
Hair for Life Toupee
With a Hair for Life toupee, you get a premium-quality toupee made from human hair. The toupee is customized to fit your head perfectly and blend seamlessly with your own hair. Available with a lace base or polyurethane (skin) base, depending on your needs and whether you prefer it to be attached with adhesive or tape. This decision is made together with your stylist based on your activity level and lifestyle.

Hair for Life Wig
When we talk about Hair for Life wigs, a custom mold of your head is typically made, and the wig is crafted based on this for an optimal fit. The wig is attached using either adhesive or tape. This decision is made in collaboration with your stylist and depends on your activity level and lifestyle.
Subsidy for wigs and women’s toupees
If your hair loss is medically related, for example alopecia or lupus, or if you have received a diagnosis from your doctor or dermatologist, you may apply for financial support for your hair solution through your local municipality. At Toftild, we guide you through the process of applying for a subsidy for your wig. We have strong partnerships with municipalities across the country.
Free choice of supplier
Remember that you always have the right to choose where you wish to purchase your wig – regardless of which supplier your municipality has a contract with. The subsidy follows you, meaning you can choose Toftild even if another supplier is listed on your approval.
