At Toftild, we know that losing your hair can be a major change – especially for children and young people. A traditional wig can feel overwhelming. That is why we offer a simple and gentle solution: Toftild Hairband by Toupim – a soft, hand-sewn hairband made with real human hair, easy to wear and designed to create a natural look without feeling heavy in everyday life.
Created with precision – and with heart in the right place
Toftild Hairband by Toupim is developed in collaboration with Toupim, a Dutch atelier specialising in hair loss solutions. Each hairband is handcrafted with great care – and with respect for the person who will wear it.
The hairband is MDR approved, meaning it has been assessed to meet the requirements for medical devices in the EU.
The hairband sits comfortably and is worn together with a beanie, scarf or cap. It is lightweight, breathable and particularly suitable for those who want an alternative to a wig without compromising on a natural look. Especially recommended for children and young people.
All hair comes from Love is in the Hair®
All hair used in Toftild Hairband by Toupim and the matching Toftild HairLock (fringe) comes from Love is in the Hair® – our own donation program, where people in Denmark donate their hair to help others.
It is the same high-quality hair we use in our bespoke wigs and hair pieces in the Hair for Life by Toftild® collection. This makes a difference not only for the recipient – it is a solution with heart, history and purpose.

We carry a wide selection of donated hair in many colours in our salons, so you can choose the exact look that suits you – or your child.
If you have a specific wish for hair colour and length that we do not have in stock, we can help fulfil your request.
