How to Put on Your Wig

Below, we have created a short guide showing you how to put on a wig. When you purchase a wig from us, you will also be shown how to put it on and take it off correctly.

1. Hold the sides

When putting on your wig, hold the wig with both hands on each side. Place your thumb and index finger at the middle of each side.

2. Start at the forehead

While holding the wig with your thumb and index finger, tilt your head slightly forward. Place the wig at your forehead first and then pull the wig backwards. Straighten your head again.

3. Adjust the front

It is important that the front sits correctly. Adjust the wig so it fits properly around the ears.

4. The natural hairline

You can find your natural hairline by measuring approximately four fingers from your eyebrows up towards your forehead. With this distance, the wig will sit correctly on the forehead for most people.

REMEMBER it is a very good idea to gently shake the wig before putting it on and to use your fingers to style the hair instead of a brush. This often gives a more natural hairstyle, as the hair on a wig falls differently than your own hair.
