CE-Marked Fabric Face Masks

We have fabric face masks from Christine Headwear in stock. They feature a nose clip that ensures a secure fit on your face. The clip can be adjusted so the mask fits closely to your skin.
The fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, which guarantees that the mask does not contain or release harmful substances.

The mask is available in both white and black. They have adjustable ear loops to ensure a comfortable fit.
Can be washed up to 30 times at 60°C.
The mask consists of five layers while still being easy to breathe through. The outer layer is water-resistant polyester, and like the two middle layers, it is treated with silver ion technology from Sciessent. This technology is antibacterial and helps filter the air. The inner layer of the mask is made of soft and comfortable cotton.
The face mask from Christine Headwear is reusable and can be washed either in a washing machine or by hand at 60°C using regular detergent. Remember to remove the nose clip before washing and store the clean mask in a bag when not in use.
The face mask can be used anywhere and is ideal if you use public transport and prefer not to wear disposable masks. With a mask from Christine Headwear, you get a reusable mask that can be used for three months for only DKK 89. An expiration date has been set for your safety.
How to wear the fabric face mask correctly
- Wash or sanitize your hands before handling the mask. Make sure the mask covers both your nose and mouth and that the logo label faces outward. Adjust the nose clip by pressing the sides so it fits securely.
- The elastic bands on the sides of the fabric mask should go around your ears so the mask sits comfortably yet firmly on your face.
- When removing the mask, wash or sanitize your hands again. Hold the ear loops and avoid touching the outer layer of the mask. Fold the mask in half and store it in a bag until it can be washed. Wash or sanitize your hands again.

There has been significant change from the beginning of the pandemic until now, as this text is written – mid-December 2021. Here we aim to outline some of the recommendations, guidance, and requirements issued by the Danish Health Authority regarding face masks.
Which face mask is recommended?
When looking at which face masks are recommended, there is no definitive answer. However, it is important to ensure the highest possible level of protection, and a CE approval can be a good starting point in that regard.
Therefore, it is possible to use both reusable fabric face masks and disposable masks. Various studies show differing results regarding the effectiveness of wearing a face mask. Regardless, wearing a mask helps remind us that coronavirus is present in society and that it is something we must take seriously.
Why are there both disposable and fabric face masks?
One of the questions we have been asked several times here at Toftild regarding face masks is why both fabric masks and disposable masks exist. The main difference is that fabric masks can be washed at 60°C and reused multiple times, while disposable masks are intended for single use only.
The need to wear a face mask can vary greatly. If you use one daily and need to wash it every day, you may require several fabric masks, and in that case, disposable masks may have a price advantage.
If you only need to use a face mask occasionally, a fabric mask can be a good alternative and is often more comfortable to wear than a disposable mask.
