From Us to You ❤
Sia, aged 8, donated her hair for the first time back in February 2020, when she and her mother took the step and had a large amount of her hair cut off so we had enough for donation. In 2022, she was able to do it again—and with stories about helping other girls her own age get hair, we just had to go once more.

On July 5th, 2022, little sister Lua, aged 6, was finally “allowed” to have short hair like her big sister. She was able to bring a bag with her beautiful, natural red curls to Toftild in Aarhus. As a mother, I am so proud of my girls for daring to take the step and cut off so much hair. At the same time, I can help tell them—and teach them—that not all children (or adults) are as fortunate when it comes to their hair—and most of them did not choose it themselves. They often have an illness that means they cannot grow their own hair. We once saw a bald girl around the age of 8 on TV, and it made a strong impression on all of us. For me, as a mother, it is about teaching my children to make a difference and help if they can. This is something they can relate to, and I am sure they will do it again one day!
Once again, thank you for the work you do—of course for adults as well, but especially for little princesses like my own. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and for some, having hair on their head is the final touch—and that is something we wholeheartedly support!
