Can Wigs Be Reused?

In Denmark, we have the opportunity to receive financial support for a wig during chemotherapy treatment, but unfortunately this is not the case in all countries. Therefore, private initiatives exist that collect gently used wigs and send them to charitable causes abroad. Here, you can help make a difference. You are also welcome to include used headwear, wig stands, and care products.

You can send your used wig directly to the address below. They will ensure that the wigs reach the places where they are needed.

Donate Your Wig or Turban at Toftild

At Toftild, we are also happy to help you pass it on. You can hand in your used wig at Toftild, and we will make sure it is forwarded. Every year, we sort out discontinued wigs from our own inventory and send them to private initiatives, giving brand-new wigs a new life elsewhere in the world.

Please remember that your wig should be clean and in good condition. Headwear can also be reused by others; we kindly ask that scarves are clean and in good condition as well.
