When Will I Lose My Hair After Chemotherapy?
When you are about to receive chemotherapy, your treatment plan is individually tailored to ensure you receive the best possible care. Therefore, it can be difficult to say exactly when you will lose your hair. Hair loss is just as individual as your treatment. It is always determined by the specific therapy planned for you. From our experience, many people first notice hair loss after their second chemotherapy session – this is what we most often see. We recommend booking an appointment to try on a wig after your second chemotherapy treatment, as your hair will typically be slightly thinner at that point. If your hair is very thick or you have a lot of it when trying on a wig, it can be difficult to find one that fits just as well once you have lost your hair. You are welcome to send photos of your own hair when you have booked an appointment. This allows us to select a range of wigs that resemble your natural hair. You can send your email to support@toftild.com – please remember to include your name and the date of your appointment.

Wig or Scarves?
It is always a good idea to consider both a wig and headwear early in your treatment process. We find that this can provide a bit of peace of mind among the concerns you may experience. It can be difficult to know whether a wig or a turban is right for you without trying it on. Therefore, you will always be able to try turbans when you book an appointment in connection with chemotherapy.
If you do not wish to have a wig, you are welcome to visit one of our salons in Aalborg, Aarhus, or Frederiksberg without an appointment to explore turbans and scarves. You will find our wide selection of feminine, colorful turbans that allow you to create your own personal style.
