How Quickly Can I Get a Wig?
At Toftild, we can help you no matter what is causing your hair loss. In cases of hair loss related to alopecia or chemotherapy, we typically work with ready-made wigs (standard wigs). In most cases, it is possible to take a standard wig home with you the same day you visit us, if you wish.
What Is a Standard Wig?
A standard wig is produced based on the most common average head measurements and is available in sizes XS to XL, making it suitable for the vast majority of people. The wigs are pre-produced in a wide range of colors, hairstyles, styles, and cuts. A standard wig usually requires only minor adjustments – we will, of course, customize your wig to ensure it fits you perfectly. In most cases, you can take your wig home the same day. If we do not have your size or preferred color in stock, we will order it for you right away.

Which Appointment Should I Book?
At Toftild, you can try on wigs in a private and calm environment. If you are booking an appointment in connection with chemotherapy, please select “Wig for Chemotherapy” when scheduling. If you would like a consultation regarding alopecia or other types of hair loss, please send an email to support@toftild.com briefly describing your hair loss pattern. Additionally, attach photos of your hair loss – preferably one from the front, one from each side, and one from above. The photos will be deleted after evaluation in accordance with GDPR. Lise will get back to you with her assessment within 5–7 business days.
