If you choose a toupee with a PU base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type of toupee can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the type of attachment you use, service and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a PU base, the hairs are knotted and the base is coated with a fine layer of PU, giving this type of toupee a longer lifespan than micro thin skin.

Therefore, this type of base is particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.
