If you choose a toupee with a PU base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type of toupee can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the attachment method you use, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required every fourth week.

In a PU base, the hairs are knotted and the base is coated with a fine layer of PU, which gives this type of toupee a longer lifespan than micro thin skin.

This makes the base especially suitable for cleaning and reattachment.
