If you choose a toupee with a foil base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type of toupee can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the attachment method you use, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a foil base, the hairs are knotted and the base is coated with a fine layer of PU, giving this type of toupee a longer lifespan than micro thin skin.

Therefore, this type of base is particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.
