With a lace base, the average durability is 3-4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on your chosen attachment method, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be needed every four weeks.

In a lace base, the hairs are hand-tied into the base, making this type suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays attached to the scalp.
