By choosing a mesh base, you get a toupee with breathability. This type may therefore be a great solution for those who often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the type of attachment you use, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

With a mesh base, the hairs are hand-knotted, which makes this base type ideal for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape for your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee remains attached to the scalp.
