With a lace base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached using both adhesive and tape. Depending on the attachment method you use, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required approximately every four weeks.

In a lace base, the hairs are individually knotted, making this base type particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays attached to the scalp.
