By choosing a mesh base, you get a breathable toupee. This type may therefore be ideal if you often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on your chosen attachment method, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a mesh base, the hairs are hand-tied into the base, making this construction suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee remains attached to the scalp.
