If you choose a mesh base, you get a toupee with breathability. This type may therefore be ideal if you often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached using adhesive or tape. Depending on your chosen attachment method, the toupee will require service and cleaning at Toftild every four weeks.

In a mesh base, the hairs are knotted in, making this base type particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays attached to the scalp.
