If you choose a mesh base, you get a toupee with excellent breathability. This type may therefore be a good solution for those who often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on which type of attachment you use, servicing and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a mesh base, the hairs are hand-tied into the base. This makes this type especially suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays attached to the scalp.
