By choosing a mesh base, you get a toupee with breathability. This type may therefore be an ideal solution if you often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached using both adhesive and tape. Depending on the type of attachment you use, service and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

The hairs are hand-knotted into the mesh base, making this type of base particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays securely attached to the scalp.
