With a lace base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on your chosen attachment method, service and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a lace base, the hairs are individually knotted, making this base type especially suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape for your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee remains attached to the scalp.
