If you choose a mesh base, you get a toupee with high breathability. This type may therefore be an ideal solution if you often feel warm or sweat a lot.

With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the attachment method you use, maintenance service and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a mesh base, the hairs are hand-knotted into the base, making this type particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays secured to the scalp.
