With a mesh base, the average durability is 3–4 months. This type can be attached with both adhesive and tape. Depending on the attachment method you use, maintenance service and cleaning at Toftild will be required every four weeks.

In a mesh base, the hairs are hand-tied into the base, making this type particularly suitable for cleaning and reattachment.

If you use tape on your toupee, the adhesive strength of the tape will determine how long the toupee stays securely attached to the scalp.
